Green Economy:
- How new technology can accelerate the global goals

‍The Norway Summit 2020 thematic focus will be on hownew technology can be used to speed up the progress to reach theUnited Nations sustainable development goals agenda 2030 (SDGs) and how tocreate economic growth with the use of new technology without harmingenvironment.

Artificial intelligence provides an opportunity to solve some of the world’s greatest challenges, including the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. We need full power of new and forceful technology to speed up the progress to reach the goals.

With the fourth industrial revolution you need to be updated on new technology to succeed as a leader, independent on the sector you are based in. Keeping up with rapidly evolving technologies can be difficult. You have to be able to plan for the unexpected as disruption is the new norm. However, you do not have to be an expert in technology to achieve success and you cannot do it alone. Public and private businesses need to work together tomake sure that technology is actively managed to align with societal needs, and address its most urgent goals.

Solving today’s biggest challenges requires allof us to act, no matter if in the economic, technological, societal, or educational field because all our actions are interdependent.

“You can’t predict the future, but you can prepare for it.”
