About Ola Kvaløy:
Ola Kvaløy is the Dean and Professor of Economics at the University of Stavanger School of Business and Law and holds a Professor II position at the Norwegian School of Economics.
His research focuses on incentives, economic behavior, and economic organization. While primarily specializing in economic theory and incentive contracts, he has also conducted empirical research on incentives, motivation and investment behavior. Kvaløy has led several major research projects and published extensively in top international journals within economics, finance, and management.
Kvaløy is an active research disseminator and public debater. He is a regular columnist for Dagens Næringsliv and is part of the editorial team for the economics festival Kåkånomics. Additionally, he holds several board positions and has served on various government-appointed expert committees.
