Tonje Wikstrøm Frislid is the Chief Executive Officer of Flyr, Norway’s new airline. Prior to joining Flyr, Tonje was the director of the business unit at Coors Facility Management and a part of the management team. She also has extensive leadership experience from transportation and aviation, both from Unibuss and Norwegian.

At Unibuss, she was the Chief Operation Officer. At Norwegian,  she held various positions during her 10-year-tenure, including Vice President Crew Management. Tonje holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Oslo and a master’s degree in international communication from Macquarie University in Sydney.

Tonje has played handball at elite level and is the coach of her daughter’s handball team.
